Black Lagoon is a manga series written and illustrated by Rei Hiroe, and published in Shogakukan's Sunday GX since 2002.
Story: The story follows a team of mercenaries known as Lagoon Company, who smuggle goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia. Their base of operations is located in the fictional city of Roanapur in Thailand. There is about 9 story arcs until now. The Introduction arc, The Rasta Blasta arc, The Das Wieder Ertephen Des Adlers arc, The Calm Down, Two Men arc, The Bloodspot Fairy Tale arc, The Goat, Jihad, Rock n Roll arc, Fujiyama Gangsta Paradise arc, The Greenback Jane arc, The El Baile De La Muerte arc.
Black Lagoon is like a live action movie on paper.
I rate the story 4/5 because some arcs are really interesting while others are average.
The arcs i wrote in bold are the best.
Art: The art is very good and detailed when it comes to gunfights.

Characters: Although Black Lagoon has alot of fighting. The main character Rock doesn't fight at all. The one who does the fighting is Revy and if Dutch starts shooting you shouldn't except anyone to survive. All the characters are likeable especially Rock.

Enjoyment: Black Lagoon can be enjoyed by anyone who likes action and a good plot especially The El Baile De La Muerte arc.

I recommend manga like Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, Until Death Do Us Part, Gantz and Battle Royale.
